Our Story

We don’t have to wait for the FUTURE to be female, we should be engaging encouraging and empowering women right now! By shopping products made by or designed by women, you help the advancement of female artisans and entrepreneurs. In some cases we’re helping create economic opportunity for underprivileged groups. The artisan craft industry is the second largest employer of the developing world and we want to assist in keeping those traditions alive. Not all of our products are made by global artisans, there are women in our own backyard with pretty rad companies too.  We strive to cultivate the creative community because ladies, together we are stronger!

Inspired by FAUNA, the goddess of animals, fertility and spring, sister to Flora goddess of the flowers, both of whom are connected deeply to the well being of the earth, we respect the gifts of nature. We aim to carry products which are ethically sourced and created with sustainable or natural materials in a manner that is not harmful to our planet. All of our shipping and packaging products come from recycled or biodegradable materials, and we hope that you’ll do the same with them too. The retail industry has one of the largest negative impacts on our environment, we want to be recognized as being part of the solution so we can all live in a better world. We care about our planet and we hope you do too!
